I'm feelin' creative. LOL! Well, actually it's not ME actually being creative ... it's Family Fun Magazine, but none-the-less, I READ the magazine and did all the work, right? Does that mean I can take credit for it?
On Tuesday, our playgroup met here at our house to help Molly celebrate her 2nd birthday. Yeah, the same playgroup that I was all bent out of shape about last week. My girls behavior was not much better, but I tried not to let it bother me this time. Key word ... TRIED!
Anyway, for lunch I made these cute little kabobs. Aren't they darling? They were a big hit and everyone had a lot of fun eating them. I was worried about the pointy sticks, so us "Moms" hung around the table with very watchful eyes ... but I'm happy to say there was not one incident. The kiddos were much too focused on the food.
**UPDATED:** - 3 emails and 1 comment asking the same thing, I decided to just update the post and include what is on these kabobs of mine. You could put anything, but I did:
- bread
- turkey
- cheese cube
- cherry tomato
- bologna
- cheese cube
- grape
- summer sausage
- cheese cube
- bread
A request was made by several of the kids to add a pickle next time ... so I will be doing that!
Then for dessert, I made these cupcakes. HA! I was so proud of myself. Yeah, I know, it doesn't take much.
If only my Bunko group could see me now!
