I promise that I will post a new, interesting, funny and more than likely embarrassing post again at some point in the near future.
That post just won't be written and published out to you all TODAY.
Sorry.
I know. I suck.
I'm a loser of a blogger.
I'm strong enough to admit that truth.
I'm just not strong enough to post anything.
I will be soon though.
I promise.

Christmas break is quickly coming upon us and I was wondering what you all do with your children when they are home over the holidays?
What other kind of projects do you give them to do that you don't have to be a part of? I mean, we all need time to do the things we love to do ... like laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc.
I prefer that "the beloved screens" ** not be involved, if at all possible.
I'm asking you all this because I'm still sick and can't seem to finish a thought inside of my own head, let alone find something to do for the kiddos.
And while I'm on a 'tell me, tell me, tell me' kick ...
When you feel like total and utter CRAP, what meds do you take to help relieve your misery a little?
** Beloved Screens = computer, video games, television, etc ...

When you come down with a flu or cold or SOMETHING ... it doesn't really matter what, because they all suck ... and you lay around and do absolutely nothing for an entire day just KNOWING that when you wake up the following day you're going to feel so much better and have so much energy that you'll be able to accomplish what needed to be done for BOTH days ... and when you actually roll out of bed the next day you FEEL EVEN WORSE?
Yeah ... I hate it when that happens too.

The day before yesterday the big ol' yellow school bus rolled up and opened its doors allowing my boys to stumble down the steps and take off at full speed toward our house.
I happened to be in the garage and heard the bus driver hollering the name of another child. Happy that it wasn't my kid's name she was screaming for a change, I was anxious to hear who it was getting in trouble.
Jake was the first to arrive and I asked him ... because I'm nosy and immature like that. The name of the boy was told and I asked what he did, because the bus driver didn't sound happy AT ALL. Jake filled me in, "He punched Drew in the face."
I was a little shocked, "OUR Drew?"
"Yeah." Jake shrugged and disappeared inside, as if it were no big deal.
A moment later Drew appeared. There were no visible marks on him or anything, which of course was a relief. "Buddy!" my motherly instinct set in and I just wanted to hug him, "What happened?"
The same story was told ...
"What did you do?" I asked Drew.
"I concentrated REALLY hard and tried not to cry."
I was proud. My sweet boy.
Big Daddy on the other hand has told me that he has a little something he needs to teach Drew ... I don't even want to know.

My mother and step-father have just left the great state of Montana on one of those big ol' things with wings that flies through the sky.
They are scheduled to arrive tonight at 9pm or so.
However ... take a peek at our local radar:
I'm taking bets as to when YOU think they'll arrive. Whoever comes closest will win a prize. Cool?
Place your bets between now and 8pm (CST) tonight. After that comments will close and the winner will be announced tomorrow morning.
Or whenever they show up.
Good luck.
