but, this is my blog so I get to write whatever I want. I'll make it quick. This is just one of those things I want to document for my own memory later on. That way when I'm old and gray and can't recall what I had for breakfast, let alone what happened at Jake's season opener tournament 20 years back ... I can just turn to my handy dandy blog. Assuming I can remember my password to get into the computer. I'm just sayin'.
So ... Jake had his first tournament of the season this past weekend. We took 2nd place and I'm so proud of the boys. They played well, despite the wind and rain.
Saturday -
Win vs. Saints Silver 4-1
Win vs. CR Cougars 8-0
Sunday -
Can't remember scores! (See why I should do this RIGHT AWAY - my memory is already going)
Made it to the Championship Game - Lost vs. CR Reds - 6-5 in extra innings.
Took 2nd place.
The picture is of Jake getting his trophy, but I had a little girl crashing into my legs as I tried to take the picture ... so it's blurry.
